THE LOUNGE ROOM
Available for the exclusive use of guests, the lounge room was once used by the nuns as a place to teach music to local children. The room has leadlight windows and an open fire with white marble surrounds. It has been extensively furnished with rare and unusual antiques and super comfortable Versace style couches.
To maximise guest's comfort there is tea and coffee making facilities, a TV, DVD, fridge and visitor information to help you plan your stay. An extensive library is also available for guest's use.

THE HALLWAY
Approximately 3 metres wide and 12 metres long, the hallways are a natural extension of the lounge room with a pianola and several large antique bookcases crammed with rare and interesting books.

THE KITCHEN
Guests are encouraged to enjoy breakfast in the kitchen with its country atmosphere, wood fired "aga" stove, walk in pantry and cellar.

THE GARDEN
St Chad's is situated on one of the highest spots in Trentham, overlooking Trent Creek, which ultimately runs into Trentham Falls. The gardens cover almost an acre and are dominated by several cedar trees with girths of up to 6 metres. There are also well established cypress trees and approximately 60 rhododendron bushes, a legacy from when St Chad's was a rhododendron farm.

More recent additions include a large ornamental pond and a 200 square metre putting green, ideal for guests keen to improve their golfing skills.

Also to be found in the garden is a small weatherboard hut, which provided accommodation for a caretaker up until the 1960's. It is unlined with a large open fireplace providing the only form of heating. Similar huts can still be seen on many farms throughout the Trentham district, where they provided accommodation for potato diggers.

The garden at St Chad's abounds in wildlife and you can be guaranteed to see possums, ducks and white cockatoos throughout the year. Seasonal visitors include kangaroos, echidnas and the rare yellow tailed black cockatoo.
